Eastbourne Hillside Protection

Ongoing slippage and falling debris from a very steep hillside in Eastbourne required an economic retaining system to protect the buildings and public safety.

The solution was a combination of drilled anchors to hold the larger rock formations and mesh pinned to the hillside to protect against smaller falling debris including a catch fence near the top to collect falling debris from above.
